Provides skill in oxy-fuel cutting, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) in flat and horizontal positions. Students apply safe welding standards to a variety of industrial applications on different types of metals in a lab setting. (Prerequisites: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in 103-159 Computer Literacy - Microsoft Office; 890-101 College 101)
