Course five of 8 examines article 300 of the NEC and wiring methods for industrial electrical applications. In addition, apprentices will determine sizing requirements for cords and cables for installations common to industrial facilities. Finally, the course will identify code requirements for equipment installations in hazardous locations. (Prerequisite: 413-755 Codes for Industrial Electricians 4)
